Forms and applications¶
Building a form, letting people fill it in, and reviewing what comes back.
Module: intake (off unless switched on)
Currently off everywhere
This module exists and works, but no server has it switched on yet. Ask the
bot owner to enable intake — see Modules.
Building a form¶
Then add questions with the builder. There are 15 kinds of answer — short text, long text, numbers, dates, pick one, pick several, yes/no, a user, a role, and so on.
Questions can depend on earlier answers, so a form can ask a follow-up only when it's relevant.
When it's ready, publish it. Publishing takes a snapshot — people who are mid-application keep the version they started, so editing a form never changes the questions under somebody halfway through.
Putting it in front of people¶
Posts a button people press to start.
Filling one in¶
Press the button. The form runs privately, one page at a time.
You can leave and come back. Progress is saved as you go, so a long application doesn't have to be done in one sitting.
Reviewing¶
Applications show who applied and their answers — as they were when they applied. Ranks change and people leave groups; a queue that re-checked identity on opening would quietly rewrite its own history.
It's not working¶

: intake is off. See the warning above.
My form has no questions
: You created it but didn't add any. /formadmin and use the builder.
People can't see the panel button : Check they can see the channel and the bot could post there.
I edited a form and someone's application looks old : Working as intended. They keep the version they started on.
