Recording who actually turned up.

Then the bot shows you a draft. Add the attendee list, check it, and press Post.
Drafts expire after a while. If yours does, start again — or use
/activitychart resume before it goes.
You have to pick the event¶
The event box is a dropdown of real events your server has hosted. Pick from
it. Don't type something else in.
There's also event_freetext for typing a description by hand, but the bot
refuses it if your server has ever hosted an event through the bot. That's
deliberate:
A record that doesn't say which event it's for can't be joined to anything — not the announcement, not the calendar, and not the playtime the game reports. It becomes a screenshot in a channel that nobody can ever cross-reference.
event_freetext exists for one case: logging something that was never hosted
through the bot at all. In a server that has hosted events, that case doesn't
come up, so it's refused there.
What happens after you post¶
- The chart goes in the attendance channel.
- If the event was published to the website, the turnout is added to it, so the calendar shows what happened rather than only what was planned.
- Staff can edit a posted chart afterwards.
Admin setup¶
Uses the same hoster role as events.
It's not working¶
"This server has hosted events, so a chart has to say which one it is for." : Working as intended. Pick the event from the dropdown instead of typing a description. The message lists your five most recent events.
"whatever is not an event in this server."
: You typed into the event box instead of picking from the dropdown. Clear it
and let the suggestions appear.
"Add at least one attendee before posting." : The attendee list is empty. Add names first.
"You have an active draft."
: You already started one. /activitychart resume picks it up, or wait for it
to expire.
"activity_chart_channel is not configured."
: Admin job. Run /config set activity_chart_channel.
The screenshots didn't attach : Attach them when you run the command, not afterwards. If one fails the bot tells you which and still makes the draft.
